Terms of Service

The service

Snytchr tests web applications for launch-readiness security issues, explains what it finds in plain English, and suggests how to fix it. It offers a free read-only URL scan, paid reports, Deep Scans (including an optional white-box scan of connected source), Auto-Fix (which opens pull requests), and Continuous monitoring (automatic re-scans on a schedule). Features and pricing may change over time.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to use Snytchr. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your login secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Authorization to scan — your responsibility

You may only scan applications, systems, URLs, and repositories that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Scanning targets you do not have permission to assess may be illegal, and you are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and authorization for every target you submit.

By submitting a target you represent that you have that authorization and that you direct Snytchr to perform the scan on your behalf.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Snytchr to scan or attack third parties without authorization, to break any law, to infringe others' rights, to overload or disrupt the service or the targets you scan beyond ordinary scanning, to reverse-engineer or resell the service, or to circumvent usage limits or security controls.

Deep Scan and test credentials

A Deep Scan can log in with credentials you provide to test the signed-in experience. You should use dedicated test accounts, not real user or administrator accounts. You are responsible for the credentials you supply and for any effect testing has on the corresponding account or data. Our probes are designed to be non-destructive. If you enable weekly scheduled scanning for a target, you authorize us to store those test credentials encrypted and to re-run the scan on that schedule until you turn it off; each scheduled run uses your plan credits, and disabling the schedule deletes the stored credentials. GitHub access and Auto-Fix

If you connect a repository through the Snytchr GitHub App, you grant us read access to the repositories you select so we can perform white-box scans and prepare fixes. Auto-Fix proposes changes as pull requests on separate branches for your review — it does not push to your default branch, and you decide whether to merge. You can revoke access at any time.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans and subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions (such as Continuous) renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with notice for future billing periods.

Your content and data

You retain ownership of your applications, source code, and data. You grant us the limited rights needed to run the service you request — to scan your targets, read connected source to produce results, and store your reports. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

Snytchr, including the platform, scan engine, rules, and site, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these Terms. Your reports are yours to use for your own purposes.

No warranty; results are informational

Snytchr helps you find and fix common security and launch-readiness issues, but it cannot find every vulnerability, and a clean or high score is not a guarantee that your app is secure, compliant, or free of risk. The service and all results are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Security is your ongoing responsibility.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snytchr and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snytchr and its operators from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content or targets, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right — including scanning a target you were not authorized to test.

Termination

You may stop using Snytchr at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as authorization, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts for any dispute, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
